I know it can be a bit disappointing not to have named the actual world, but I can't come up to a name just yet. I have to consider all three ages of the world so far before I name it, which makes it really hard, even exhausting! :)

All names of the continents mean something and each one's population differs from the other.

Finding a name for a world or even continent is always the toughest :D

Not so much the continent names but the world ones are always hard... :(

ah, always trying to think of a name, that'd be perfect in a way, something that'd fit. Though maybe continents apply only on myself, and there is only 1 I need to name. At least we solved it here on Earth :D

I have come up with many different ideas for the name of the world but none seems to be the fitting glove... :(

I like this concept of continental placement. You don't use the "let's modify Earth" style, and it looks just great!

I don't want my world to look like our planet, but my geology training tells me not to diverge much from it either. :D

I will upload a WIP at some point with all the mountain ranges, it will make it clearer as to why everything is where it is. I haven't finished the whole project yet, I'm still going through tutorials for map creation to choose the one I like the end result most in order to apply it to my map, if possible. But I am enjoying the journey there, plus I'm learning so much about Photoshop! :)

I love the names of the continents too and I can't wait to find out what they mean, and the name of your world should be meaningful as they are. I love your maps :)
But, you keep telling about those ages; is there a file or something where I can read about it? It sounds interesting.

No file, just countless notes in a notepad of mine which I should sit and coordinate, because right now they're a mess! But I'll give you a preview because of the compliment! :)

The first Age is the Age of Birth, when the planet was created and the first people populated it. Not many things are known about that Age, besides the one prophecy that was given from a young boy, the first who was born on the planet. Noone knows how long that Age even lasted, nor when the second Age began.
Now the second Age, according to the prophecy, was named the Age of Cataclysm. Many devastating events took place, with the fragmentation of magic and its disappearance/alteration being the most important one, which resulted to the death of one of the three moons of the world. When the fragments of the moon stopped falling on the world, the third Age began.
This Age was named the Age of Rebirth, along with a variation of other names depending on the continent of the world and its people. Some call it the Age of Wisdom, others the Age of Warfare and there are some who believe it's the Age of Death. This is the current Age, which means I haven't decided which of all those names will actually signify this Age's importance in the history of the world. :D

You now got a sneak peak in the history of my world! :giggle:

I think that splitting the history into three ages was the best decision you could do; it is not too complicated to follow and it gives you a feeling of order, unlike our real history which is very crowded and we only wan't to make it look organized. ;)
And the falling moon sounds just epic...

Well, there will be many other smaller events that will happen in each continent that will shape its history, but I like the whole idea of Ages more than a chaotic history line. :D

As for the falling moon, thank you! :w00t:
