Rithiell Gel'feyn

Lady Rithiell Gel'feyn

Daughter of Lord Eronion and Lady Azrathea Gel'feyn and twin sister of Lord Eldorin.

A woman of many talents and many more secrets.
A Qarista, one not interested in the old magic of the world but in the magic she sees in the hearts of people.
An agile mind and a sharp tongue, fitted perfectly on a curvy feminine figure.
A frivolous and very demanding noble at times.

All in all, a very interesting persona!

Her Soothing Beauty"Hasar, light!"

An angry shout and a glare was all that was needed. The boy flinched instantly and held the mirror at a different angle, making sure his master was satisfied. The light filled the room once again, sun rays reflecting on the cold surface of the mirror, dancing their way merrily upon the woman's ebony hair. Hasar stood in awe, gazing at her smooth Qarista features.
"By the Duelling Moons", he thought. "Her beauty can only be compared to that of a goddess".
The woman rolled her eyes and for a fleeting moment they shared a glance. It was then that Hasar realised he was still staring at her. The boy's cheeks turned red and he qu
Two Grapes and a Glass of spilt RacameA warm spring breeze carried the sweet, melodic laughter of Lady Rithiell to Hasar's ears as he was heading to the garden. His heart pounded vividly in his chest, forcing him to stop and catch his breath. What was it about this woman that made his arms tremble like those of a sealh's*š, when she is paying her respects to the Mighty Wind? His shaky hands betrayed him and, to his fright, he realised he had spilt some of the wine. Several droplets were spread on the stone-covered floor, the rich aroma of fruits, sanā*˛ and cassia*ł filling his sinuses, while another tear-shaped drop was sliding slowly down the crystalline surface of the gob A Day Unlike the Others - Pt.1Part One

A Day Unlike the Others - Pt.2Part Two

Bickering was never his forte. The only way he knew how to solve his problems was physical, most of the times a fight. He didn't mind taking a few blows here and there, that was actually part of the whole "letting out the steam" procedure. But with Rithiell that wasn't a plausible solution.

After him walking away from her and turning at the corner of the bakery on his way to the local tavern of the district, he had stopped in order to calm down his nerves. Without even noticing, he had clenched his fists and gritted his teeth, thinking of what had happened. Why did he ever agree to take this job? He could have found something bette

Norick Blanke

Norick Blanke

Son of Uma Blanke and Yeran Morunt, step brother of Geira and Diita Morunt.

He has a lot of issues in his life. One of them, the one he has to learn how to deal with in a daily basis, is Rithiell. He is her bodyguard and one of her best friends. He wants to believe she wants him to be more. But he is not willing to take any action until he solves his biggest problem. His heritage...

Hasar of Ahmiran

Hasar of Ahmiran

Son of Sasum of Ahmiran and Guillaume Lefor.

Born in servitude and trapped in a mansion from a very early age was a fact Hasar had accepted of his life, until he met Rithiell. She came into his world and shook him from the ground up, changing his life for ever.
He will always love her and will always be indebted to her. But only to her and noone else.
For he has vowed to himself never to be a slave again...

More Original Characters

More Original Characters

Terra Antiqua's heroes and villains!

Terra Antiqua is a vast world with many more characters than just the three mentioned above. Each of them has a story of their own, some more detailed than others, a few of them intentionally not revealed here (or anywhere else!) and some yet to be written. But they are all indispensable parts of the world and of the stories I'm writing, so they too deserve to be shown off!
So here they are!

A Heartbeat Once MoreThe morning was still very young when Uma left Harn's End. Travelling to the Ruined Citadel was no easy task, she knew that well. She also knew she had more chances surviving when most of the cultists were still sleeping or preoccupied preparing the new day's rituals.

But it wasn't only necessity that made her travel during those early hours in the morning. She enjoyed it too. It helped remembering the days she was a member of the Grey, although those days were long gone now. The memories of her past life were still vivid in her mind. She never regretted a thing, especially that day. It was her duty to protect the villages and her pride to b
A Quartet of Strings - Yeran. The boy knocked persistently at the wooden door. In his hands there was a creased letter. The door opened slowly, creaking loudly, as the figure of an old man appeared at the threshold of the house. His hair and beard were white like the snow that covered the mountain peaks of Rhydor, his skin pale, his eyes a cold faded blue. He took the letter from the boy, slipped a couple of gold coins in his palm and slammed the door shut behind him.

Walking to the inner sanctum of his house, Yeran Morunt broke the seal and started reading, slowly and carefully, his face remaining frigid and expressionless.

"The bait worked, they came for her eventuall
A Quartet of Strings - Uma.The constant ringing sound of hammer on anvil calmed her spirit. The Citadel's forge was definitely an unusual place for anyone to visit when seeking solace and peace, but Uma wasn't treading upon an ordinary person's footsteps.
She placed the silver rod into the fire until the metal turned a bright orange glow, reaching to the point that her father always called "a forging heat". She skillfully beat her hammer down, starting to draw out the length of the billet into what appeared to be the shape of a blade.

The first sun rays entered the cabin, lighting the small bedroom. Uma opened her eyes indolently, a yawn slipping her lips as she stre
A Quartet of Strings - Geira. The day was bleak and cold, one of the most bitter days of the year, despite the fact that the eleventh moon had appeared in the sky barely two days ago. The snow was replenishing its icy deposits over the Ari Mountains, rendering the ability to travel long distances impossible. Geira was squatting near the exit of the cave, her back against the rocky wall, waiting. She was turning ten today and was about to receive her birthday gift.
She could hear the screams coming from inside, the agonizing shrieks and the pleading. Her face remained calm though, a flicker of anticipation barely noticeable in her eyes. She didn't have to wait long. Yera

"Pencil... Such a small yet powerful thing.
Sharpen it's end and allow your creativity to flourish and give birth to little wonders!"

My mum used to say that to me when I was a teenager and was desperate to express the creative side of me. She was so right! Several years have passed since then, yet I find myself still following her advice.

So, many pencils later, these are what have come to be!

Photography

As far as the eye can see and a camera's lenses can capture.

A trusted companion on each one of my trips and a personal keeper of memories, my camera has helped me see the world through many different colours, aspects and levels. :)

That strange but wonderfull world I'm sharing here with you, or at least parts of it!

Feature of the Day: May 2013

Wed Jun 5, 2013, 7:32 AM
:iconphaeobrien:

As promised, almost every day I will feature a deviation on my profile that catches my eye, chosen from a variety of different forms of artwork (drawing, painting, photography, 3D arts, animation, literature, artisan crafts and even artist supplies, like stock photos, brushes and tutorials) under the "Feature of the Day" section. It will stay on my page for at least 24 hours.

Every end of the month there will be a round-up of all the featured artworks in a journal that I'll be sharing with you, along with a few more that didn't make it to the folder due to my lack of activity in here!

I hope you enjoy!

PS. I have now found a job. Finally. It was just about time. But that means that I'm off the house many hours and when I'm back I have many other things to do before I can spare some time to spend online. That doesn't mean I don't check my profile and messages. I do, so don't stop dropping by to say hello or to leave a comment or two on my deviations. :)
Thanks for the understanding!

A few words about me.

The name Phae Lanegan O'Brien is not my real name. It's a nom de plume I use, because my real name is quite long and difficult to pronounce.
